Flowers & Plants
Flowers and plants seen a little differently—through light, shadow, shape, and texture. I am drawn to the character I find in them, from a flower just beginning to open to one beginning to fade. These photographs are less about identifying the plant and more about seeing the beauty and personality I find within it.

This photograph shows a sunflower as a new flower, a wilting flower and in its final stage, all dancing together in a beautiful backlit group. I was drawn to the way the different stages of the flowers coexist, showing that beauty can be found throughout the life of a bloom.
