Flowers & Plants
Flowers and plants seen a little differently—through light, shadow, shape, and texture. I am drawn to the character I find in them, from a flower just beginning to open to one beginning to fade. These photographs are less about identifying the plant and more about seeing the beauty and personality I find within it.

These three photographs are all of the same plant species. As you look down the branch, the plant reveals a spiral that can only be seen when you really stop and look closely. I was fascinated by the natural movement hidden within the plant and the way the leaves create a sense of motion.
